In 5 against 5 in half court basketball, all positions are included, unlike 3 x 3.
You have 10 seconds to Cross the half court line with the basketball. That removes 10 seconds, making the max clock 15 seconds.
Then there are the rules that applies to those on defense and those on offense. And the level of playing. Some might think there should be a 12 second clock and others 10 but the starting point is there is ten seconds you cannot have.

I think the distance to change from Defense to offense should be a line beyond the 20 footer three point shot like about the length of the jump ball circle on that side . meaning the smaller guys do have to move faster because big guys go three seconds after the rebound to get out of the 3 Seconds Zone.
